About Crystal Hull

Crystal L. Hull, ABC, MPA is an accredited business communicator with nearly 40 years of experience in all facets of strategic communications, public relations, media relations, crisis and issues communications and brand management. She has held senior level executive positions in state government, two large healthcare systems, a mid-sized, not-for-profit agency and a family-owned business.

In 2012, Crystal was honored with the Pennsylvania Public Relations Society’s (PPRS) Ernest R. McDowell Award for Excellence in Public Relations, a lifetime achievement award for sustained excellence in both the profession and the community. She is the immediate past president of PPRS and currently serves as chair of the Nominating and Professional Standards Committee.

Crystal has been recognized with numerous local and regional IABC Awards, including the District III Award for Overall Achievement and Par Excellence Award for leadership as local chapter president. Her contributions to IABC have included president, national delegate, communications VP, Gold Quill Award Program mentor, local accreditation mentoring program co-developer, international accreditation program test examiner & proctor, “Communicator of the Year" review committee, membership directory coordinator and Awards Presentation Committee co-coordinator.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications/Journalism from Shippensburg University where she also has served as adjunct faculty in the Communications/Journalism Department. She earned her Masters of Public Administration from The Pennsylvania State University where she was a recipient of the HealthAmerica Graduate Fellowship for Academic Excellence. She is a member of Pi Alpha Alpha, the National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration.

Crystal is a graduate of Leadership York Executive Connections. Throughout her career she has volunteered for numerous organizations including the Alzheimer’s Association, West Shore Elks Lodge 2257, the Jaycees and youth soccer, baseball and church-affiliated groups.

About Rob Rutz

Rob Rutz is a seasoned communications professional with 30 years of marketing and communications experience, including communications management, media relations, internal team-based communications, strategic sponsorship management and event planning, community leadership development, public relations and community outreach.

His career spans various positions in the banking industry, working his way from Assistant Vice President, Marketing Coordinator to his current role as Senior Vice President, Strategic Sponsorships with PNC Financial Services.

His tenure in the financial services field has built his broader professional skill set, which also includes recruiting, team building, training, administrative planning and budgeting, public speaking, community development and community relations, charitable grants, sponsorship activation and membership.

Rob is a graduate of Shippensburg University, holds a certificate from the American Bankers Association Business of Banking School, and is a graduate of the Leadership Harrisburg Area program. He is an emcee, project coordinator and volunteer for Music Cruise Ship, artist and media relations coordinator for House of Prog Internet Radio, and a long-time volunteer in promotion and stage management with non-profit theaters.
