Presented by Mandy Arnold, President & CEO of Gavin

Wednesday, September 26 • 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

 Gavin Advertising
328 W. Market St.
York, PA 17401

The marketing landscape continues to change and be disrupted with new trends and technologies, particularly in the digital realm.

Join IABC Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 26, at Gavin Advertising as the agency’s President & CEO, Mandy Arnold, discusses opportunities and challenges in the digital marketing world. After rave reviews from touring WebpageFX in 2017, we’ll be taking another “field trip” to the offices of Gavin in downtown York. We will tour their offices before enjoying heavy hors d'oeuvres and Mandy’s presentation.

With the mobile first mentality, it’s critical to be on the cusp of digital advertising trends and technology that will help move our client’s businesses forward. Mandy is a recognized digital marketing expert and will discuss the opportunities and potential challenges for organizations as it pertains to digital marketing, as well as ways to ensure your client or organization understands the value and importance of having robust digital marketing and a digital presence.
Tentative schedule:
5:30 p.m. registration and networking
6:00 p.m. tour begins
6:15 p.m. hors d'oeuvres and Mandy’s presentation

IABC Member Spotlight

Professor Hans-Erik Wennberg has been an active member of IABC for 32 years at both the chapter and regional levels. He completed his teaching career in the Communications Department at Elizabethtown College in 2014 after 40 years.

“IABC allowed me to increase my knowledge, continue my relationship with a varied group of communications professionals and create lifelong friendships,” he said.

Hans’ retirement has included travel and making digital images. This year, he visited Norway on a trip that included five days on a coastal steamer and a week visiting relatives in southern Norway, enjoying the scenery all the way.

“Retirement does not that mean you stop learning,” Hans said. “I’ve continued to be part of IABC, expanding on my professional interests and maintain contact with the field I worked in for 40 years.”

Hans served in leadership of the IABC Lancaster and Harrisburg chapters and was active in the IABC Heritage Region. Attending and participating in local, regional and international conferences were important to his professional development, he said. “I want to encourage communicators at all levels to attend and volunteer to be part of IABC.”
